A start of a new year often means that it’s a time to come up with a new plan. Many people feel that what and how they managed their life in the past needs to be changed, so that their future will also change.
Most of the things that were done in the past didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Our promises made to ourselves at the beginning of the New Year sometimes didn’t have the results that we had planned.
I for one wanted to change the way I interacted with people, talking with and treating them with the utmost patience. Well, that didn’t work…some people really pissed me off !!!
I wanted to take all the extra money I made and save it for the future. I’m getting older now and in a few short years I’ll be relying on Social Security in order to live. Having a few extra bucks in my pocket would surely mean that I wouldn’t need to struggle to survive. That idea didn’t work out too well…I spent all the money on ebooks and software to get my business going on overdrive. Or so I thought !!!
You really don’t need a hard drive filled with hundreds of ebooks that you can sell. Hell, many of the gurus make use of only 10 or so that they leverage to create a decent profit. Even the newest and “best” software to run your business is available for cheap…most of what I use is FREE !!! All of the stuff I paid big money for is still sitting idle on my hard drive.
Which brings up another point. I had planned on not using my credit cards and even wanted to cancel them all, except for 1 to be used for emergencies only. Yeah right! I’m at the point that all of them are maxxed out and if I pay them off at the minimum payment method that they suggest they should be paid by the time I reach 106. Not a comforting thought!
At least I can be secure in knowing that my 2007 Toyota shouldn’t be breaking down soon. (What…2007…but it’s 2008…gotta get a new one???)
So here I sit, trying to come up with a plan for this year that will take away all my burdens. It’s not easy. In fact it’s really hard. But I thought that affiliate marketing was supposed to be easy??? IT’S NOT!!!! When you are starting out it can consume more time than your full-time job. And success won’t happen overnight. After 2 years I’m still doing that 9-5 routine. But every month it is getting better. This time next year I will have told my boss what he can do with his job.
I plan on listing more stuff on Ebay. I love ‘em! That’s where I got my start. I’m also putting together a website that I can list all the hundreds of ebooks and software programs that I own. It will have 3 levels of membership, of course Bronze Level will be FREE, and Silver and Gold will be reasonably priced, not like some of the ones out there that charge you a fortune (I’d rather have a lot more people sign up than try and make it with just a few members).
As soon as I get things set up I’ll announce it in this newsletter, so subscribe to my RSS feed, or better yet, fill out the form on the right to subscribe to my newsletter. You’ll get a couple of FREE ebooks and also my promise that I won’t fill your inbox with junk.
Well, that’s it for now. I’ve already talked too much.
Have a Happy and safe New Year. Hopefully I can help you join me in my journey to financial freedom.
To OUR success,
Don

I can’t believe that I missed your point, I will have to do some research on this.
